- X-SMALL (FOR KITTENS): 9.4-13.7 in | 24-35 cm
- SMALL: 13.5-17.7 in | 33-45 cm
- MEDIUM: 13.7-19.3 in | 35-49 cm
- LARGE: 15-21.8 in | 38-55.5 cm
Take a measurement around your cat's chest. You want your cat's harness to be snug and fitted so they can't get out of it. When you take the measurement, make sure you're getting close and tight up against your cat -- down past all the floof!
If you're between sizes, go for the bigger size if your cat is still growing, or the smaller size if they are not.

Harness training might seem like a lengthy process, but it takes time to help your cat adjust to their latest travel gear. And it is SO worth it.
Open your harness with your cat there and test out its features around them. DO NOT attempt to put the harness on right away if your cat is not already harness trained.
Leave it out in the open for a few days. When they approach it on their own, reward them with a treat or kisses and play around the harness to form good associations.
Once they are familiar with the harness, you can put it on them following this guide.
Leave the leash attached inside for a while before leaving the house, so they can get used to the amount of tension from the leash pulling.
Keep your first outing short and sweet, like a sniff outside or walk in your yard. Carry them outside so they do not learn to walk out the door.

I recently purchased the Travel Cat backpack and I have to say, it has been a mixed experience. On one hand, the backpack itself is fantastic! The quality is top-notch, and it’s evident that a lot of thought went into the design. Parker absolutely loves it; he feels secure and comfortable.
However, the shipping process was quite frustrating. There were significant delays, and I didn’t receive any updates unless I reached out to customer service myself. It would have been helpful to have more proactive communication regarding my order status.
Despite the shipping hiccups, I am very happy with the backpack itself, which is why I’m giving it a full 5 stars. The superior quality, thoughtful design, and the joy it brings to Parker far outweigh the shipping issues. It’s stylish, functional, and Parker seems to really enjoy it. If you can handle potential shipping delays, I highly recommend it!
I bought this harness because I seen an ad on Instagram and thought it was cute. It arrived quickly and looks just as pictured. It fits great on my cat and she looks so cute! I love that it has velcro and a strap to go over it for extra protection. It's a way better upgrade to her last one and I'm so glad I bought it. Thank you Travel Cat!
It’s easy to put on , fits well . I had a smaller one for when my cat was a kitten be he outgrew it. Holds up well the Velcro stays attached. My cat uses his every day .
