A purchase does not increase your chances of winning. The Travel Cat $2K Getaway Giveaway (“Promotion”) is sponsored by Travel Cat, LLC, located at 10 Commerce Drive, Farmingdale, NY 11735 (“Sponsor”).

1. Eligibility

The Promotion is open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Void in Puerto Rico, all U.S. territories and possessions, and where prohibited by law.

Employees, representatives, or agents of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate.

2. Promotion Period

The Promotion begins on October 17, 2025 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) and ends on October 30, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. ET (“Promotion Period”).

Voting will be open during this same period. Winners will be selected by November 4, 2025 and publicly announced by November 7, 2025.

3. How to Enter

To enter, visit https://yourcatbackpack.com/pages/travel-cat-2k-getaway-giveaway during the Promotion Period and complete the online entry form by submitting:

• Your name and email address, and
  
• A photo of your cat (this can include any photo at all, including travel- or adventure-themed photo — outdoor exploration, backpacking, or cozy staycations.
  

Photo Requirements:

• Each submitted photo must clearly include a cat.
  
• Photos may not contain obscene, offensive, or inappropriate content, or depict any activity that could be considered unsafe, harmful to animals, or inconsistent with Travel Cat’s values.
  
• Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify or remove any submission that does not meet these requirements or is otherwise deemed unsuitable for public display.

Limit one (1) entry per person and per household for the entire Promotion Period, regardless of method of entry. Entries received from the same person, email address, or household in excess of the stated limitation will be void.

Entries must comply with the submission instructions provided on the entry page. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

4. Voting & Finalists Selection

All eligible entries will appear on the contest gallery page for public voting. Each person may cast one (1) vote total during the voting period.

The ten (10) entries with the highest number of votes at the close of the Promotion Period will be deemed Finalists.

In the event of a tie for the final qualifying position (for example, if the 10th and 11th most-voted entries have the same number of votes), the number of Finalists will be expanded accordingly to include all tied entries.

5. Winner Selection

One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be randomly selected from the pool of Finalists.

One (1) Secondary Prize Winner will be randomly selected from all individuals who either submitted an entry or voted in the contest.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries and votes received.

6. Prizes

Grand Prize

The Grand Prize consists of a $2,200 Travel Cat Getaway Fund, including:

• Up to $2,000 USD in travel-related expenses (paid directly by Travel Cat to selected vendors or reimbursed to the winner upon submission of valid receipts), and
  
• A $200 USD Travel Cat Gift Card to use at travelcatshop.com.
  

Total approximate retail value (ARV) of Grand Prize: $2,200 USD.

Secondary Prize

One (1) winner will receive a $200 USD Travel Cat Gift Card.

No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent of the prizes is permitted, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

7. Eligible Expenses for the Grand Prize

Valid expenses may include:

• Lodging (hotels, motels, or short-term rentals such as Airbnb, VRBO, or Booking.com)
  
• Transportation (flights, train, bus, or car rental)
  
• Fuel for road trips
  
• Tours, attractions, and excursions booked through Viator, GetYourGuide, Klook, Tiqets, Expedia, Tripadvisor Experiences, or Airbnb Experiences
  
• Park entry fees or tickets purchased through reputable providers
  

All expenses must include a dated, itemized receipt listing the vendor name and total paid.

8. Prize Redemption Deadline

The Grand Prize must be booked or reimbursed within 12 months of winner notification. Travel may occur after this period, provided all bookings are confirmed and valid receipts are submitted within the 12-month redemption window.

Any portion of the prize not booked or reimbursed within that timeframe will be forfeited.

9. Prize Delivery and Conditions

The winner may choose between two methods of prize fulfillment:

1. Direct Booking: The winner provides vendor details (hotel, transportation, or excursion selections) and Travel Cat will pay vendors directly up to $2,000 total for eligible travel expenses.
   
2. Reimbursement: The winner books their own travel and submits itemized receipts for reimbursement up to $2,000 total in eligible travel expenses.
   

Receipts must clearly list the name of the winning entrant as the purchaser or traveler. Expenses submitted under another person’s name will not be eligible for reimbursement.

If the total cost of travel exceeds $2,000, the winner is responsible for paying any remaining balance directly to the travel providers.

Reimbursements will be processed within approximately 30 days after Travel Cat receives and verifies valid documentation.

10. Winner Notification

Winners will be contacted via the email address provided on their entry form. Winners must respond within seven (7) days of notification to claim their prize. Failure to respond within this time may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

11. Publicity Release

By participating, entrants grant Sponsor permission to use their name, likeness, image, photo submission, and/or social media handle in connection with the Promotion for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

12. General Conditions

• Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates the Official Rules or appears to manipulate voting or submission processes.
  
• Sponsor is not responsible for technical issues, late or lost entries, or errors in administration.
  
• Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Promotion.
  

13. Tax Liability

All federal, state, provincial, and local taxes associated with acceptance or use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor will issue any applicable tax reporting forms as required by law.

14. Release of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Travel Cat, LLC, its affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability, loss, or damages arising from participation in this Promotion or acceptance/use of any prize.

15. Social Media Disclaimer

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any other social media platform. By entering, participants agree to release Instagram and Facebook from any responsibility associated with the Promotion.

16. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at travelcatshop.com/pages/privacy-policy.

17. Governing Law

The Promotion and these Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York and the laws of the United States applicable therein, without giving effect to conflict of law principles.
