Miles ahead in quality, comfort, and utility compared to other backpacks I’ve tried, worth the higher cost compared to others for sure.
Big enough for the 13 lb boy to sit in comfortably, and although he is still not sold on the experience of being carried around on one’s back, he does not run away at the sight of this one like the previous brand we tried.
Really glad I had this on our recent unexpected 3 day roadtrip, both kitties fit together and were (mostly) content for the long trip.
Moby and me love this backpack. It fits perfect to my back and does not hurt at any point and moby loves the space and little pockets on the side for his treats. We are from Germany and I was unsure if it’s digging into my back (it does not!) and the price (with shipping and customs duties ~ 200€) but it’s worth!
This is the best thing ever. It introduced a whole new world for this little guy. He took to it immediately. And doesn’t he look so cool in his matching sweater?!
Also the service was excellent, as is the quality and design of this carrier.
I live at 9500' up a mile and a half driveway on the north face of a mountain. Sometimes our snowplow hydraulic fails and the only way to exit is to snowshoe out. This happened just this week, and the travelcat backpack was excellent for keeping my precious fur baby safe and comfortable on our way down (with a little extra insulation, of course. 😉)
As a former baby wearer, I can appreciate the details in any sort of back carrier. I purchased this as a way to be able to have both cats buckled in for some summer hiking. We went out for the first walk today and it was great. The lengths they went through to make sure you can get the right fit and not have loose ends hanging everywhere is incredible - take it from a short girl, who is expected not to be catered to. The kitties loved it and are now sitting in their backpack looking at me like they want more! LOL. I was nervous about opening the side window but we did and they seemed to get it and didn't try to jump out.
