Posting a new review since I cannot edit my old 3 star review. I purchased this backpack and really enjoyed it, but had a problem with the frame slipping out while hiking with my cats. I wrote a review that the frame was my only issue. The company reached out to help me troubleshoot, even sending me a video of how to place the frame. We realized there was a small defect with the backpack that kept the frame from staying in. The company offered to send a new one or to send me the Fat Cat backpack in its place. They took time to talk to me about the frame and how it is a sturdier model.

Me and my boys received the Fat Cat backpack a couple weeks ago and love it! While the Navigator was great (other than the frame issue) the Fat Cat is perfect for both kitties. One of my boys is also more timid and likes to stay in the backpack while out and the enclosed area is great for making a shy adventure kitty feel more secure while giving him great views with the bubble. It has even made him more confident with going outside. My other cat can easily sit on the top of the pack while we walk around, as he likes an obscured 360 degree view.

This backpack is purr-fect for carrying our cats to the vet, or walking around the neighborhood or traveling. Easy to load and unload the cat from the carrier with zippered entry on the top and front of the unit. The adjustable padded straps make carrying the Navigator confortable. Love the zippered storage pockets for holding small accessories and treats. We have purchased several Travel Cat products and love the thoughtful features and quality of their items.

Both me and my 2 cats are very happy with the backpack. Comfortable to wear and comfortable to travel in.

I take my cats out in it 3-4 times a week and they see it as a safe spot when we run into a dog or when it starts to rain.

I love the details of the backpack like being able to lock the zippers so my cats won't be able to open them. The side pockets are big enough to carry snacks and a water bottle. The mesh is sturdy without making it impossible to look out. You can see that the backpack has been developed by a catowner. Great quality of material and design!

Customer support is very good at responding fast and sharing information and/solutions.

I haven’t used my backpack yet because, although it came in an airtight, plastic bag, the item had a musty smell. I’ve tried all their suggestions as well as let it out in the wind and sun for over 2 weeks and the odor didn’t go away!

I can see it’s study and very practical to be able to carry my cat around with me while traveling but not while it has that smell.

Pretty good! Arrived quickly and the kitten loves it!!!
