I purchased the Sunshine Bundle with high expectations given the great things I had heard about their products and the hundreds of positive reviews posted on their website. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been marred by their abysmal customer service.
While we have enjoyed the Sunshine Bundle thus far, it took over 7 weeks for it to be delivered - contrary to the "Lightning Fast Delivery" of 1-5 business days promised on the website. Shortly after check-out, I received a generic "Thanks for your purchase" email, with no further communication from Travel Cat.
After 2 weeks of waiting, I reached out to Travel Cat Support in hopes to get a tracking number so we had some idea as to when I could expect the delivery. It took another 9 days for support to tell me that the Aqua Backpack associated with the bundle was "...unexpectedly on backorder," with no ETA as to when we could expect our items.
Now a month after placing the order, I had to follow up AGAIN with support - only to now be given the option to change the color of the backpack to ensure quicker delivery. With a new color chosen, we were excited to finally receive our order and start using our "Sunshine Bundle."
When we finally received our delivery, the harness was not included as part of our bundle. Following additional back and forth with the friendly but not-so-helpful customer support rep, it took another 10 days to receive our harness.
While the Sunshine Bundle might deliver on their promises, the customer service experience has left a sour taste. Unless you’re prepared for potentially prolonged frustration if something goes wrong, I would advise considering alternative brands that offer better customer support.
