Forever Home Heroes Winning Cat Welfare Organization - One Love Animal Rescue & Sanctuary

Every year we donate thousands of dollars to cat welfare orgs. and individuals around the world. In November of 2024, we held our annual Forever Home Heroes Contest, a world-wide competition for cat pawrents to submit photos & win money for the cat welfare organization or individual of their choice. We got hundreds of photo submissions and many deserving cat welfare orgs were brought into the spotlight.

Every month in 2025, we are featuring the winning kitties and their organizations, bringing attention to the wonderful work they are doing in their own cat community in hopes to inspire cat lovers around the world to support in whatever way they can! 

This month's feature is One Love Animal Rescue and Sanctuary in Brea, California. One Love opened its doors in memory of the owner's beloved rescue cat Max, and is dedicated to finding protective and loving homes for as many animals as possible. Their rescue is dedicated to helping animals of various species, regardless of age, behaviors or medical issues. They are dedicated to playing a part in assuring all animals have a chance at their best life.

"Here at One Love what makes us special is that we take in a variety of different species and types of animals who have found themselves in need of rescue and placement. We have a team of dedicated and experienced fosters who accept and appreciate the animals in our care as the unique and special individuals they are. We help them to overcome any trauma, medical or behavioral issues they may have prior to finding them a special forever home where they will be able to live their best life."

They plan to help towards our fund for their new mobile veterinary program!

One Love Rescue was nominated by Szu along with an adorable photo of Mushu in The Hawaiian Harness, that won 5th place in our Forever Home Heroes Photo Contest.
