They were both adopted from Watermelon Mountain Ranch!

"The Fat Cat" cat backpack

 

What was your biggest reason for getting your cat backpack?

I wanted a better way to take my furbabies exploring!

 

 

What’s your biggest tip for getting your cat used to your cat backpack?

Use it frequently! And leave it out for them to play with/in and to let it smell like you and your home.

 

What’s your cats preferred method of travel in your cat backpack? Bubble? Screen? Top open?

Out of it 😂 but they seem to like the top and the bubble open.

 

What’s been your favorite outdoor experience with your cat?

This was before the I got the Fat Cat, but Nori thought that the ground she was going to jump on was solid, but it was actually like a foot of mud #muddykitty 😂

 

Tips for hiking, biking, and general outdoor adventures with your cat?

Take it slow and let them be the boss! It's about their comfort zone, not yours.

 

What are your tips to get your kitty feeling comfortable during car rides?

Do it often. And start slow! Let them get used to being in the car, then work up to car rides. And treats are always helpful if your kitty is good motivated.

 

Tell us about your favorite odd but endearing behavior you see from your cat(s)!

Nori LOVES licking the water out of my hair when I get out of the shower 😂 and Hiro likes to sleep on my face at night. All night. 😂

 

Many of our catstomers want to leash train their cats. Tell us about your experience with that. What worked best? If you gave up, that’s ok, too. What was your deciding factor?

I got each cat a harness and then let them get used to having that on, then I took them in the backyard and slowly got them used to having a leash attached to the harness.

 

What's your favorite part of #yourcatbackpack?

I can take my babies ANYWHERE!!!
