Taylor Swift Shows Off Her Cat Backpack in Miss Americana Netflix Documentary Trailer

Breaking news! Mega pop star and America's sweetheart Taylor Swift has a cat backpack!

The familiar design was broadcast to a global audience this week in the official trailer for Swift's new documentary, Miss Americana, which will come to Netflix on January 31.

In the shot, we see Swift's furry friend, Olivia Benson, peering out from her cat backpack's plastic bubble while the singer walks through an airplane.

Swift has previously been spotted carrying Olivia in her arms because the cat did not like her traditional carrier.

Swift has long been lauded as a cat mom extraordinaire. Olivia Benson, who is named after Mariska Hargitay's character on Law & Order SVU, is siblings to Swift's two other fur babies, Meredith Grey and Benjamin Button. Cats regularly appear on Swift's social media feeds and in her music videos (in fact, Swift adopted Benjamin after he appeared in her video for hit song, "ME!"), and Swift recently starred in the live-action musical fantasy film, CATS.

Swift may have caught wind of our cat backpacks from her pal, comedian Hannah Hart. Hart recently appeared in Swift's music video for "You Need to Calm Down" and is the proud owner of The Jackson Galaxy Convertible Cat Backpack Carrier.
